After some waiting he made version 14.13 available - with the same bugs. Obviously he was working on the parallisation. Now we have version 15.1 - and the bugs are as before. Anyway Bob Hyatt told me that he will "look at the problems". To mention some: search g8=Q not possible crafty crashes for a legal position (8 rooks) crafty gives mate in 8 or mate in 9 for a position wich is a mate in 10 depending on the hash table size. Anyway crafty is a great program. It' s strong. You can optimise it for your hardware. If you have a multi processor system you may have the strongest available program. It's not (only) a DOS program - so you can read CCC while analysing a position. Here the output for bench on a PPro (2 procs) overclocked to 233 MHz. White(1): hash table memory = 12M bytes. White(1): pawn hash table memory = 2.5M bytes. White(1): using cpu time White(1): White(1): search time set to 600.00. White(1): Running benchmark -- this will take approximately six min ...... Total nodes: 40327623 Nodes per second: 112021 NPS relative to Pentium Pro/200: 1.32 White(1): execution complete. > >By the way, how can i make a script file so that it will continue >playing on two machine(autoplay mode) Kind regards B.
