Small samples of games with strong personalities & programs don't tell us much. So I will run many more and keep track of scores (less duplicates). Last night I ran a 8 game tournament with CM_Utzinger settings against default chessmaster settings, both with 8MB ttables and the Cohonas book. The objective is to isolate the impact of personality settings. Result 8 games at G/40 on PIII 933: CM default: +4=2-2 5.0 CM_Utzinger +2=2-4 3.0 Steve
