In comp vs. comp games, this will likely "vanish" rather quickly, because any move that is played that is not in the mentor's opening book will clear the status bar where the opening line is displayed. Also, the openings should only be displayed in the Game Room and in the Kids Room (but only if you're not playing a Rated Game). The Tournament Room never displays openings. jm
