Don't we all?  Would you pass up a chance at sure money with no risk?

If you are in a position of control, won't you try to wring every last ounce of
power out of your superior negotiating position?

It is only logical and sensible.  If I were Kramnik, I would do *exactly* the
same thing.  Wouldn't you?

Will you really reduce your advantage to the lowest possible level and try to
ensure that the playing field is completely flat?

I remember an "Apple Cup" match a few years back.  The University of Washington
(my school) was playing Washington State University in a football game.  Now,
Washington had one of the top defenses in the nation.  WSU left the field
covered with snow.  It neutralized the quick feet and cutting ability of our
defense.  Now, I was wishing that they hadn't thought of it, but I remember even
at the time, I admired the move as a genius stroke of cleverness.
