According to kasparovchess.com, Kramnik will face the #1 computer program sometime soon. This #1 program will be decided in a match between Fritz and Junior (obviously, there is absolutely no doubt that any other program could possibly be #1). Actually, Shredder was invited as well but declined. However, to make sure that the winner of this 2 program match really is percieved as #1, Shredder was described not as the WCCC and WMCCC, but as "another formidable program". We thought FIDE held whacked matches? Well, BGN just joined the club. James
