Even if they were to forbid explicit parameter adjustments before or during the match, it would be easy for an operator to send an instruction to the program "encoded" in a particular manner of move entry (e.g. some special and highly unlikely mouse movement/click or duration/order/kind of key presses). Do they allow your operator to run the program during the match or will they have their own operator?
