I had used to be dead set against them, and as time went by I started changing my opinion. Now, I seem to actually accept them as _very_ good indicators relative to the strength of a program. Therefore I think that I can say with a healthy dose of certainty that GT 2.0 is a good deal stronger than Gandalf at _all_ time controls... etc. This extrapolation must be sound... do you agree, Shep, as a mathematician and all? Oh, there are also all kinds of other arguments I could offer, but this second beer I've just had, seems to have contorted them all, at least in my mind. Rgds, *** Djordje
