Hi Kurt,
Perhaps your settings are optimized for longer time controls. A overnight
tournament G/25 on PIII 933 yields the following:
W D L Score
CM8 (cm default with 8MB ttable) 4 2 0 5
CM Banks (cohonas book & 8MB tt) 1 3 2 2.5
CM8 Utzinger (kostick book & 8MB tt) 0 3 3 1.5
I know, I know... small sample.
