Ok, now I understand you sentences! :) When you tried to move your cable to the w95 comp, you also had to install some cable company software, right? So now there's something half installed probably, justa waiting to be deinstalled. Maybe through Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs? Hard to say from here. :( These network things are something to be very careful with. Too late, I know! I had a similar story last week, tried to change my fine working Lan from IPX/SPX to TCP/IP + Internet Connection Sharing; went totally wrong, couldn't even reboot my computers. Reinstalled w98 a few times, different troubles at every reinstall, finally went back to my old settings and now it's (almost) back to ok. >That took I would guess about 4 days 24 hours/day. You should install an extra card (if needed) in your w98 pc and link it to the w95 one with a LAN cable :).
