No actually he diverted to that in; http://www.icdchess.com/forums/1/message.shtml?164926 it wasn't how it started. It started with his distributor stacking the deck. Whether that was what he implied at that point is something else. These statements are like what your doing making the same accusations without evidence. >I merely stated that it is conspicuous that the selection process was almost >certain to result in ChessBase only. You should read Amir's post again contrary to what you previously wrote he at no point said we negoatiated after Shredder was out. Whether you took it to mean that is something else. >Everything is obviously speculation, but it adds up. We have motive (lots of >money and publicity) and opportunity (biased selection process). I took it before at face value when you wrote it. >>Who's to say they wouldn't have negotiated with Shredder in? > >Noone, but that wasn't the case at hand and not a likely scenario. Again you don't know this either, just more speculation. >>The rules negotiated would have applied to all. > >It would be rather unlikely that Millennium would have said "Thanks!" and >joined. Especially given the very subtle changes introduced. From Reading Amir's letter I quote. "and more or less saw the same problems in the terms". How do you know what terms made them withdraw?. If they Junior and Shredder saw the same problems in the terms then you could also speculate that Shredder did consider playing. Sarah.
