And have not spoken out in it's favor in terms of the tournament/match except to say which I believe is true, that on machines of equal cpu ChessTiger 14 is the strongest program. I also beta tested Gandalf_h and participated in the forum, though that as you know did in fact require someone who originally owned the program, (which I did thanks to you). Whether my opinions are concern for Ed and Christophe is for them to decide. I see myself as totally independant of any manufacturer, distributor and therefore simply speak what seems apparent to me. I wouldn't accept nor expect to be told that my opinion has any effect on any author. And I wouldn't expect any author to tell any person(s) who tested for them previously to either support their claim or say nothing. Actually I am certain Ed and Chris would say to speak my mind.
