The important word here is belief and not proof. It is a mistake to make decisions on personal belief or supposition's IMO. Especially given the commercial interest involved here. What would you have done if the World Champion hadn't been a SMP capable non-commercial program? > I am sure even you believe no other >program has a "chance" against the above mentioned programs in a match(es). My belief is unimportant, because it's just that, a belief. Irrelevant. >Why don't at least be consequent like some of the others and say Shredder or >noone. As I've said previously, without a real qualification tournament I'm in favour of Shredder playing. Actually, arranging a real qualification tournament would be far more complicated than the one you've "arranged". And I'm the exact opposite of an opportunist, because I believe in principles above everything else and consequences of actions comitted. Noone here has anything I want. Is your conscience just as clear? >I have told you several times about the conditions, and the recommendations was >based entirely on this. I assume you mean Chris Whittington, not Thorsten Czub. And I must admit that I don't see anything that changes perspective significantly. I'm perfectly aware of Ossi Wieners ability to alter the truth along the way, but the important information came from SMK and Amir Ban here. The relevance of the behaviour and ethics of Bruce Moreland and Robert Hyatt is also limited. But I'm interested in knowing why you didn't contact Rebel during your deliberations. After all, you cannot know if there is a SMP version under development. The same goes for other authors as well. Uniacke, Suurballe, etc... Regards, Mogens
