Isn't Kasparov holder of that title given the departure of Deep Blue :-)).

I didn't know that Deep Blue was a software program. My understanding is that it
consists of quite a bit of hardware as well.

Well, I'm glad that the most of the championship and "strongest program"
nonsense have been removed, except for "Man v Machine Championship". But I think
I can live with that ;-). This makes it an ordinary exhibition event, so they
(BGN) can obviously do whatever they want.
