Subject: updated review of DGT-board

Hello everybody,

I updated my webpage about the DGT-board, and added some additional (newer
information).

You can find it at http://zip.to/jeroen and follow the link to Tacky Patzer
Chess and the DGT-board review.

Don't forget the reviews of Bob Pawlak, there's a link to those on my pages as
well.

I also want to point out that recently I made a mistake here in answering a
question about the DGT-board's EEPROM and PGN. The latest version of the utility
Queen.exe 1.40 *does* record simple PGN, but it's not totally bugfree, and
doesn't show check signs.

I don't know who I answered to, but sorry for the mistake and I hope you read
this message.

This is from the Queen.exe 1.40 documentation:

	<start>
	EEPROM storage
	To read the contents of the board, press CTRL-E or activate the dump of the
board via the menu Board, Get Eprom. Reading the contents, which can occupy
about 500 moves, takes about 10 seconds.

	All the contents are saved into an eef file, containing the hex values of the
data. A new window appears. The game nr. represents the number of the game.
Since the board can hold a several different games, they are distinguished by
numbers. The highest number is associated with the most recent game.

	You can chose between three different representations of the game:
·	MoveList, which is a unofficial long notation of the chess game
·	Debug, this can be used to detect problems or for developers
·	PGN, this is a short standard notation of the game in PGN format. This PGN is
not complete yet, it misses the check symbols

	Save
You can save the output to use for further processing.
</stop>
