I don't have a specific problem with commercial programs.  I am not arguing that
an amateur program should play Kramnik.  I am arguing that if the goal is to
select the best program, we should abide by our previous selection process.

When this is over, there will be a lot of press.  And the press will state that
the best program was selected through some sort of playoff between computer
programs.  When the WCCC happened, there was no press.  So this is what the
public will perceive to be the real world championship, Ed.  The public will
believe that this process selected the best program in the world.
