Hi Graham

Your testing the various CM personalities is most interesting and confirm what I
have already realized myself: the CM8_Utzinger is not the strongest setting in
comparison with others if you let them play against each other ... but what
should me clearly mentioned is that I have not yet found a setting that plays
more successfully against other top programs like Fritz6b, Hiarcs732, Junior6a
und Nimzo732. What I mean is the following: does it make any sense if the
strongest CM_personality cannot win against the top leaders of the world? Please
continue your tournament and with the winner make then some matches against
other top programs to see whether the good results will be confirmed. Only in
this way will it be possible to find out the real best CM_personality. I think
all CM-freaks are eagerly waiting to know for sure which CM-settings are in
practical chess the best against the different programs.
Kind regards
Kurt
