i have read several times where systems have 768 megs of ram. i just read it again in todays post. is this with windows 98? of course i know when the dual processor software is running it has to be windows 2000, or an operating system that supports the dual processor software . but when these operators are using a single processor, do some of them use windows 98 with 768 megs of ram? if you are familiar with these large amounts of ram with windows 98SE, could you tell me how the operating system should be configured? for example the [vcache] under C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI should we manually set the min and max amounts of vcache? are there any other settings that should be done for chess programs, to use windows98 with 768 megs ram? thanks
