Hi Kurt,
I cannot argue with you in this regard. I have not been able to test Titan or
Fortress against other top programs. I have Fritz6, Nimzo7.32, Genius6,
Shredder3 - so yo can see that I don't have many of the latest or strongest.
That's why it's really helpful for those who do to carry out some testing. A
collective effort gives a clearer picture. I have done only a small amount of
testing and do not wish to make any claims based on it. CM Utzinger has done
very well against top programs and I congratulate you on this. My settings are
untested in this area.
I feel that the selective search setting is the difficult one. I know that 6 is
definitely not the best, but I am unsure as to which setting is - I suspect 8
might be, but can't back this up with a watertight argument.
