I can deal with people calling me stuff, although it might make me a bit
angry, but this isn't the place for this sort of thing.

On r.g.c.c. there are people who are involved in the group for reasons
that mystify me. Maybe they started out reading the group because they
were interested in the topic, but when they started posting, all they
had to say involved tearing down other people. This tends to eliminate
the possibility of productive discussion, which drives some people away,
and forces the rest to wade through acres of crud to get to the few
interesting points that are left.

The reason this group was founded was to eliminate this sort of
nonsense. We all give up some of our freedoms when we post here, since
there are people who can pull the plug on us, but hopefully this will
convince people to be more civil to one another here.

There is nothing wrong with this. I'll be the last one to argue against
this.
