1)does the Auto-player version of fritz5 do the same mistake
fritz5 did against stobor?
the relevant game is(fritz5 black)
1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.nc3 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Bf5 5.Ng3 Bg6 6.h4 h6
7.Nf3 Nd7 8.h5 Bh7 9.Bd3 Bxd3 10.Qxd3 Qc7 11.Bd2 e6
12.Qe2 Ngf6 13.0-0-0 0-0-0 14.Ne5 Nb6 15.Ba5 Rd5 16.b4 Rxa5
17.bxa5 Ba3+ 18.Kb1 Na4 19.Qf3 Bb4 20.Ne2 Qxa5 21.Rd3 Nd5
22.Qxf7 Nac3+ 23.Nxc3 Nxc3+ 24.Rxc3 Bxc3 25.Qxe6+ Kc7
26.Qf7+ Kc8 27.Qb3 Rd8 28.Qe6+Kb8 29.Qb3 Qb4? 30.Qxb4 Bxb4
31.Rd1 Bc3 32.Nf3 Rd5 33.Rd3 Rb5+ 34.Kc1 Bb2+ 35.Kd2 Rxh5
36.Rb3 Rb5 37.Rxb5 cxb5 38.Kd3 Kc7 39.Nh4 h5 40.f4 Bc1
and white won.
my version of fritz5 (with hash table size of 19,968 Kbytes)
before move 30 of white evaluate the position as -0.09 10/23
-0.19 11/27 0.00 12/28 -0.13 13/29 -0.09 14/30 -0.13 15/32
-0.03 16/35 -0.09 17/37
after the move 30.Qxb4 it evaluate the position as 0.38 8/17
0.22 9/19 0.28 10/21 0.22 11/23 0.28 12/25 0.25 13/27
the numbers like 10/23 represents the depths the computer look.
and you see befor the move Qxb4 fritz5 "thinks" it is an adventage
for black and after it it is adventage for white and it is not a
question
of time.
2)can the ssdf list include something like this for the leaders programs
a)Junior4.6 Pentium 200 MMX 200 MHZ 10 Mb Hash tables
40 moves per 2 Hours elo number.
b)Junior4.6 the same computer 20 Mb Hsh tables some elo number
c)Junior4.6 the same computer 20 mb Hash tables 40 moves
Per 1 hour elo number.
I want to know what I earn in elo if I double the hash tables or the
speed of the computer(it should be without permanent brain
for this purpose.
It is interesting to do a nunn match for 2 engines for fritz5 with
different
rates of times (1 second for a move ,2 seconds for a move ...
512 seconds for a move) unfortunatly in fritz5 I cannot do a match
that does not give the same time to 2 engines
