Rajen, For the opening book, make sure that you change the attributes of the book files after you copy them to your hard drive (i.e. make sure that the files attributes are not set to "read only"). If you do this, and load the book from it's location on your hard drive, everything should be fine. For your other problem - I got best results from installing the updated GUI that came with ChessTiger, rather than installing Tiger as just an engine. Bob
