Exactly which is why he indicates he will replay the games.

This is a CCE tournament match. From Group "A" which runs in the
Fritz 6 gui. Therefore I assume he is using Crafty 18.08 from Chessbase.
In the engine parameters there is a use processors box default is 1.

Could be he changed it to do something else, then forgot to change it
back when playing a CCE game.
