Dear CCC, The ideal chess computer should be small and portable with a 20cm by 30cm high resolution flat panel monitor. It should do at least 1,000,000 nps and have a memory of at least 512 Mb RAM with a 150 Gbyte main memory storage device. I want it to use only 2 to 3 watts of power and have batteries that are solar rechargeable and hold full charge at max output for 7 days and weigh only 1 Kg. Now is that so much to ask for? Tim Frohlick PS Wasn't it Bruce Moreland that told us about memory devices that are the size of credit cards that hold over 1,000,000,000,000 bits of data?
