Do you honestly think the logfiles would be *anywhere* near as helpful to Kramnik as would, for example, detailed analysis by a Kasparov's team after a game? I don't think he can learn much from the logfiles at all. Even if he *wasn't* given them, how hard would it be for him to grab a copy of DF or DJ, toss it on a fast quad, and look at the analysis of the games from there? While the results would not be exact, they would be just as useful. I don't see any harm in him seeing these logs. Given Kramniks deeply positional style, I strongly doubt he's going to try to take advantage of these programs in any way *but* a positional one. And to do that, having log files really doesn't help much one way or the other.
