Hello Sarah, yes you can played with UCI Shredder under Chess-Base GUIs or with other UCI Engnes or under WinBoard with UCI Shredder or other UCI Engines. It is easy. The same way if you added a WinBoard Engine under Chess-Base GUIs + the adapter from Roland Pfister in the Shredder directory. Example: f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder (directory) f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder\Shredder.bmp (logo for Shredder) f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder\Shredder.init (config file for WB Engines) f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder\Shredder.exe (adapter from Roland Pfister) f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder\Shredder.rc (config file for the adapter from Roland) f:\CBase\Engines\Shredder\Shredder_5.exe (program Shredder 5.0) f:\Cbase\Engines\Shredder.eng (adapter from Chess-Base) PS: I rename the engine.exe in Shredder_5.exe and not to Shredder.exe because the adapter from Roland have the name Shredder.exe.
