Hi Tim: AS a profesional paranoid my safety measures are conmensurate with my ailment, but still they do me well. I recomend them even to sane people. So, lets show you my decalogue of safety measures to be taken by any of us, nort sane people. 1- The UPS thing, of course. I have been protected several times thanks to that. I remember an ocassion, before getting it, that I lost an entire article in the very moment I have finished it because of a sudden shortage. Not anymore I said, and so I got at once the IPS 2. Two anti virus programs running at the same time. 3. The zone alarm program for avoiding hacker intrusions. Great program and free. 4. Iomega stuff to do copies of my files to a zip disk to avoit losing nothing if my entire computer goes wrong 5. Second Copy program to do the same in the same Zip disk -another file- if iomega goes wrong. 6.- A virtual drive to keept things in the sky in case a bastard get into my house and shoot with a Kalkashnikov at everything I have. 7.- An insurance contract to cover the damages produced by point 6 8. A second, notebook computer, where everything I have in my "mainframe" is duly copied. 9. And of course a for-life syquiatrist. 10. What I am missing? Fernando
