I bought a Gateway with a 1.3 AMD and 512 SDRAM. I ran some tests (FritzMark =
1120), (Time to fixed Depth with Deep Fritz). I sent this machine back due to a
bad hard drive and less than good treatment from Gateway. I bought a new Dell
220 workstation with dual 1GZ, Windows 2000, and 512 RDRAM (I know about the
RDRAM problem). The Fritz Mark is not a valid comparison, but the time to fixed
depth with Deep Fritz shows the Dell 220 is 78% faster than the 1.3 ADM Gateway.
The Windows 2000 is MUCH BETTER than Windows ME.
