>10. What I am missing? Beside the CD burner already metioned: organisation. Make separate partitions for your OS, your programs and your data. Store all your data on the data partition, including e-mail, addressbooks, favourite URL's etc etc. Rememer .ini files and startup files. All "floating and changing" data. Also create a directory on that partition with your basic drivers: unpacked and ready to install. No need searching for CD's or floppy disks. If you can't do it the partition way because you should have to repartition: consider Partition Magic, 99,9% safe. Or store all data under ONE directory, so if you have a burner, only drag that complete directory as a backup to the CD Rom. If -with all countermeasures named here- it still goes wrong, just.... just.... freak out. You deserve that. J.
