Little to be done about it, I agree. Please exuse the humor, but this reminds me of an old joke. One evening a fellow loses his car keys in his yard. An hour later, a friend sees him at the neighborhood supermarket, in the parking lot, staring at the ground. The friend asks "What are you doing?" "Looking for my car keys." "Where do you think you dropped them." "In my yard." "Then why are you looking here?" "Because the light is much better." !!! I do like your experiment, and do find it fascinating. I have my doubts whether it will turn out to be practical to prove the conjecture of diminishing returns. But it will be interesting to try to find out. On the other hand, if you look in the supermarket near Ratko Tomic's house...of course you will find it! :) But I know that isn't what you meant by diminishing returns. Christophe thinks it can be done, comparing 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, etc. It is possible that will show something. --Steve
