I should perhaps mentioned that I have Crafty as an engine in Chessmaster 8000, upgraded version. When I try to add the line you mention in crafty.rc then Crafty resigns directly after it has come out from book! Seems to be an incompatibility between the GUI of Chessmaster and Crafty. Otherwise Crafty works well in Chessmaster. Georg
