At least they got a letter explaining that they weren't invited. I never received any official communication, despite finishing second in the 1999 WCCC, ahead of both Fritz and Junior, on a slightly weaker multi-processor machine. Ed/Christophe have me down as objecting to this match on their site. I do, but it wasn't because of who was or wasn't invited. I think they should have just taken Shredder. If invited, I would have declined to participate. bruce
