Precisely a couple of hours ago i commented with someone here -thorought email- that the real thing or at least the fundamental one is to dilucidate SSDF rating meaning. To means very little because: a) As CSTAL has probed to me, to my full satisfaction, that the strenght of a program vis a vis a human has nothing to do or not too much -extreme limits of course are out of question- with the strenght of a program vis a vis another program. b) As much as it appears that programs are not tested on equal terms, it's difficult not to dismiss even partially the results of ssdf even in his onlyu machines against machines terms. c) And finally, as much as every good or better, top program, is by far superior to 99% of us, the significance of 20 more or less elo points is meaningless. On the contrary, it will be more and more imnportant the rest, database capabilities for now and training ans tutorial capacities in the near future. I would love a chess program linked with a porno site to get 3 minutes free if you get a win. Fernando >Just an idea about some 'harmless' questions to ask ... > >Moritz
