I'm more specifically looking for a) info about what would be optimal -m and -c settings...some of the info there looks quite weird, especially since he seems to mention using -m 512 for _all_ five men tablebases, whereas Nalimov's own documentation mentions much higher settings needed for the five men with pawns. I also doubt a tablebase a day is attainable given how slow knnkp built here (my machine is twice as fast as his...) I do not think the author actually built all table- bases, just the ones without pawns. b) A Linux binary or sources of datacomp. The links all point to a Windows exe, which isn't much of a help to me...And given the size of the files I'd prefer not having to transfer them to a windows box. -- GCP
