Can you tell from where you have got your tablebases?
If you have got them from the Endgame Turbo CD from ChessBase, then it is very
simple: just install the TB CD (if not done already), and you are done. The
Tiger engines will detect and use them automatically.
If you are installing from another source, you need to go to
Extra->Options->Advanced in the Rebel-Tiger program, and then click on the
"Endgame" panel.
There you must give 2 informations:
1) Tablebase path: here you must type the path to your tablebases directory. For
example if you have installed the tablebases files in the TB directory of your C
drive, you must type C:\TB
2) Cache size (Mb): here you can type 4, 8, 16 or even 32 depending on your
total amount of RAM. For most systems 16 will work fine, but be careful that the
total of hash table size + TB cache size does not exceed your total amount of
RAM minus some megabytes for your OS
One last recommandation: do not forget to activate "Use endgame database" in
Extra->Options.
