I didn't know this great testset - thank you very much for your post . I think
this is how a testset should be done : every solution is correct - every move is
explained so well that everybody can understand what it is about - maybe you
have to be a titled player to do it like this .

A few of the tactical ones are a little easy - well , for computers at least .
For humans it's the other way around - most of the positional ones are not _too_
hard .

Testresult with the program Bringer 1.8 on a PIII500 ( free download at
http://www.reubold.onlinehome.de )

Total Points : 67/100

Testresult : 2536 USCF

In fact even the rating number itself looks quite fair when compaired with ICC
results .

I don't care too much for the ones that eventually will be solved in 15'' with
faster hardware .

But the ones that the program really doesn't understand at all ( lack of
knowledge ) are very interesting in fact - and probably a tough challenge even
for the best commercials .

So for the best of the best - maybe try a subset :

Positions : 4,5,8,10,11,16 and 22

I suspect many will solve CCR16 and none will solve CCR 22 - I'd love to see
some more results posted .
