Voting is a wrong word in this case. Since there is no action being taken based on the results, what we are discussing so far is an opinion poll. The same system might also be used for voting on various issues, where actions would be taken based upon the results. Regarding the opinion polls, there is some interest here. In the normal discussions in this message board and on the newsgroups there are usually two small and very vocal groups on each side of an issue. Sometimes a single poster , a minority of one, can generate more volume than all other posters combined. Each side is often afraid to let any post by the other side go unanswered for fear that public opinion may be swayed by their opponents. Well, now we have a way to measure public opinion... :)
