Eric, No probs

Here is the "Dummies Guide to Auto232 & CM8K"

Download the winboard232b or (c) player.
If you don't have it just search with WWW.GOOGLE.COM for WINBOARD232B you will
see the site.

Save this file in the CM8K players directory

so... C:\PROGRAM FILES\CHESSMASTER8000\WINBOARD232B.EXE

In Chessmaster

Go to the GAME ROOM -> IMPORT XBOARD ENGINES

Call the personality whatever you want ie. "AUTOPLAYER"

The XBOARD filename c:\PROGRAM FILES\Chessmaster 8000\winboard232b.exe

The command line parameters -noextend
(or if COM port is COM2) -noextend -COM2

Now on your other computer, set up the autoplayer.

In CM8K to get a game do

GAME -> NEW GAME
Personality A/ Chessmaster
Personality B/ AUTOPLAYER

Do a similar setup with your other computer & software

Press ENTER and enjoy the fun!

Cheers
Scott
