I was thinking that computer chess was having similiar problems as FIDE
(first PCA, then Brain Games).  Two champions (Anand and Kramnik).

I see nothing but chaos.  Thanks for the link, I am off to read it.  :)

Looks a lot like TV wrestling federations to me.  ;)
