The big deal is that this is the human World Champion playing a commercial computer program in a match (and this is a computer chess club), which doesn't happen very often; and the fact way in which the program was decided was subject to controversey. You're right, there isn't much interest elsewhere, but I think it's perfectly understandable why there is plenty here. John
