My reasons: I think, I have seen all those often in games. Some of them may be difficult to evaluate for chess engines. Not, that some chess engines may have problems, when they have access to say KRPKR but are missing the promotion cases (especially KQRKR). These chess engines may refute to promote a pawn, and may draw a won game. For analyzing, I think this problem is not that severe. Regards, Dieter
