I have a version that is much different from Paderborn 1999, but it hasn't
played much and I don't do a lot of work with the program. I think it's more
interesting and better, but it's not like I do intensive development constantly,
and I do not do autotesting or anything like that.

The current version of the program is more aggressive and has a better
understanding of piece placement and pawn structure.

Your comment is more or less fair. I think that Fritz has gotten a lot better
in the last year or so. I don't know about the others because I haven't seen
them as much.

Mine may have or may not have. I may occasionally make claims about my
children, but it is my habit to make zero claims about my program. Any
reputation I may have has nothing to do with anything I've said about my
program.

I wouldn't have gone to this if invited. First, there is the issue of travel,
since I don't give out copies of my program to anyone. Second, this event
started out as a battle of champions, and will probably be perceived as such
even after that notion has been dropped, and I don't want to undercut Shredder,
who has represented us well as current world champion and micro champion.
