Here's the short installation guide (Shredder in a ChessBase GUI): 1) Create a folder called Shredder in the ChessBase Engines directory. 2) Copy the WinBoard adapter to the same directory and rename it Shredder.eng. 3) Copy the ChessBase *.init from the UCI-WinBoard adapter package to the newly created Shredder folder and rename it to Shredder.init. 4) Place the UCI-WinBoard adapter in the Shredder folder and rename it Shredder.exe along with Shredder.rc (the renamed *.rc adapter configuration file from the package). 5) Modify the configuration file Shredder.rc to suit your computer setup, tablebase path and the path to the Shredder engine itself. 6) If you want a logo then copy Shredder.bmp to the Shredder folder.
