Subject: Gift: Chess Tiger for Palm FOR FREE

I'm currently working on the port of the Chess Tiger engine to the PalmOS
system.

I'm planning to announce Chess Tiger for Palm in a few weeks.

In the meantime, as a gift to the computer chess community, I'm going to offer
for free the current version of Chess Tiger for Palm.

It is a full port of the Chess Tiger 14.1 engine, so the Palm users are going to
have an engine which is more advanced than the PC version, and FOR FREE! It has
all the main features of the PC engine: very strong engine, hash tables,
permanent brain, PGN support, book learning, multiple variation mode,...

The main drawback of this free version is that it is a text mode version (no
graphics). So if you want to play against it, you need to play with a real
chessboard. There are also a few other minor drawbacks, but hey, it's free!

So if you have a Palm, a Visor, an IBM WorkPad, a TRGPro, a Qualcomm organizer,
a Sony Clié, or anything that runs the PalmOS system (version 3.0 or above) you
might be interested by Chess Tiger for Palm.

If you want Chess Tiger for Palm (text mode) for free, then send an email to

  support@chesstiger.com
