OK, so you are a member of the SSDF. Can you verify that FRITZ used special, non-commercial books as Thorsten previously claimed ? And what information can you give us as to the ability of this mysterious autoplayer to diasable functions of other programs ? My post was not intended to be derogatory. Instead I had hoped for a chance to be able to accumulate further data about the performance of chess playing software. Just a simple invitation to play, nothing more and nothing less. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I would ask what the optimum settings for HIARCS 6 are on a P200 MMX, but you probably aren't interested in giving me the answer to that either. If anyone can provide this information, it would be greatly appreciated. I don't think that the setings for HIARCS have been the reason for it's poor score in my own games, but I would like to know for sure.
