I found a copy of CDB. It goes a long way towards what I had in mind in the beginning. It doesn't strip all but it takes most of the editing out of my hands. Did you try Editpad ? http://www.editpadpro.com/ It should be configured according to the example pgn of my previous post but it's not an easy tool. Pete
