In more than 80% of the 198 games played by Fritz 5 until 98-02-22, the
ordinary opening book has been used. In less than 20% of the games the
separate, commercially available PowerBook has been used. In my comments
to
the latest (last??) rating list I said that the PowerBook had been used
in the majority of the games, but the figures above are the correct
ones.

The only thing we have found so far is that it doesn't send the command
"save game" to the other program. This is according to Matthias
Wüllenweber an oversight which they will correct. I have emailed the
involved programmers and asked, among other things, if this could affect
the learning function. I'm waiting for their answers. Chrilly Donninger
has stated that it doesn't affect the learning function of Nimzo 98.
