I'm guessing even in its itty-bitty-kitty form, it will still tear most of us into bleeding, cringing ribbons of catfood. A general purpose instrument makes more sense to me now-days (unless you really like looking at the physical chess men as you play -- I find I prefer a 2-d iconic display more now).
