Hey John,

Probably the reason why you want a chess computer but not a chess program is the
preferance of the OTB play. I am on the same situation.

I naturally play 60 0 chess, I feel I am better at that time control than in
Blitz. I do prefer battling it out live with a chessboard rather than my
desktop screen, its more serene for me--god knows I've had enough "staring of
the screen" for my work.

Bough Kasparov 2294 here at ICDchess and bought a chess prograam Junior 6. Its
a little cumbersome to write out the moves while you play with the tabletop
chess computer and do an analysis afterwards with your chess program but if you
are into chess, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Perhaps today, the best chess computer is Karpov 2294, aesthetics wise and
functionality wise. I've looked around and have actually bought 2 other
products, Excalibur Mirage and Karpov Grandmaster, before settling in with
Karpov 2294.
