I agree.  Buy one of the cheap Palms and the chess program of your choice
(PocketChess or ChessGenius, and maybe ChessPad for a straight PGN reader).  For
the slight extra cost you get a touch sensitive chessboard with no pieces to
lose, backlighting, PGN save and display, plus all the other features of a PDA.

One note: Tiger is not yet released.  The engine is ported, but a user interface
has not yet been developed.
