Tim responded to this very question yesterday. Your question
and his response are below.
We do not want to run the risk of restoring the 36 hours and have
the server go down. As you can see our server is fragile as it is.

There may or may not have been a problem with the system starting around
the time we went to 36 hours.  I have (hopefully only temporarily)
restored the previous version of the index script until I can figure out
what was going on.
